Probably one of the most difficult task for the kayak novice is actually getting into the kayak itself.

Trying to describe it in words is pretty difficult so we have provided a a video below that shows you how to do it the easy way.

The presenter shows you how to get in and out from a dock and from the beach.

Points to watch out for is to keep a low center of gravity and take it slowly

She has a helper for the first demonstration on the beach and this makes it much easier if you have an experienced friend to help you.

With the second method make sure that you don’t go and break your paddle, in fact the whole sitting on the paddle thing we’re really not sure about.

Use the third method, launching the kayak from the water if you’ve got an inflatable kayak unless you want to be fixing punctures for the whole trip!

Ease of Use

Using the included foot pump you can expect to have your kayak fully inflated in 10 to 15 mins, getting in and out of the kayak is pretty straightforward but if you have never used a kayak before it might take a few attempts before you get the hang of it.

If you’ve enjoyed kayaking in the past on lakes or rivers or other areas of slow moving water but are looking for something that will give you more challenge and thrills there is ocean kayaking.

Ocean kayaking is a good alternative to surf boarding and we believe also offers more variety, with ocean kayaking you can travel long distances and explore ocean and sea life or go to the extreme and take the kayak out and hit the waves like in the video we have posted below.

Our Conclusion at Kayak Reviews

So there’s so much to like about this kayak, we loved it’s versatility it would appeal to novices because of its excellent stability, it would be great for solo or tandem kayaking  and would certainly make a great family kayak.

We were really impressed with the innovative design and the capabilities of this multipurpose  kayak, all the little built in features and that it has plenty of storage space are also big plus features for us.
